I found the 2011 SPM Physic book and I read the Angry Birds in Maths.

Anybody can answer that question? We need to shot that green pig.

@bunny75: I think you forgot a (1/2) in the equation d=t*v_y+(gt^2)/2, so the angle is actually 31 degrees? :)

Easy.

First we need to known forward speed and upward speed at moment of launch.
55 m / 2.5 s = 22 m/s forward.
upward speed x can get from
x m/s * 2,5 s - 9.81 m/s^2 * 2,5^2 s^2 = 12 m - 10 m
x m/s = (2 m + 9.81 m * 2.5^2)/2.5 s = 25.3 m/s

Then we get trigonometry.
Tan (angle) = 25.3/22, so angle is 49 degree.

are you sure the range is not 55 but the points that we are looking for are (55,2).

so 55 = (Vx)(T)(cosQ)
2 = (Vy) T (sinQ) - 1/2gT^2
solving this we get Q=60
